My name is Zoe Worlund… Cordeiro
If you can’t tell I am a newlywed and I’m still getting use to that 3rd name! But more about that later…
I am from Huntsville, Alabama but I recently moved to Brazil after two years of traveling back and forth between my two homes.
There are so many things to share about who I am and what I do so I guess I’ll just lay them on you…
I am a dog lover.
Unfortunately I left my long time loyal friend Charlie in Alabama but one day I will return for him. Right now I am just trying to hold off from picking up every stray that I pass on the side of the road.
I am a classic Enneagram 9.
People always laugh at me when I share this in my introductions but that just gave you so much insight into my life and now I feel a little too venerable…
I have been a Plant-based Vegan for about 6 years.
For 5 of those 6 years I hid that fact about myself because it always made me stand out like a sore thumb. Thankfully the world is changing and I don’t have to explain to people what those words mean anymore.
I love being Plant-based so much that I even started helping others transition into the lifestyle… Wait! I’m getting ahead of myself.
My husband is Brazilian
Be honest, did your mental image of me just snap from a hippy backpacker traveling through Brazil to a not so whimsical woman scrambling to fill out visa papers without understanding a word of Portuguese?
Though not as glamorous, the second one is much more accurate.
My husband is from here in Brazil and that’s why I moved here.
Though I don’t get to lug a backpack around or sleep in hostels my life is still pretty whimsical.
P.s I did the backpacking thing in Europe, it's not all that it’s cracked up to be.
So, now that you know who’s voice you are reading, I’d like to share a little bit about what I do…
As I mentioned above, I am a long time Plant-based vegan girl!
What does that actually mean though?
You may have heard of the Vegan lifestyle. This word Vegan simply means not consuming any kind of animal product. This means no meat, eggs, dairy, sugar processed through animal bones, no leather, no silk, if it has anything to do with animals it has nothing to do with Veganism.
I am a vegan because I don’t consume animal products but I use the words “plant-based” because I don’t just not eat animals. I focus on eating primarily plants and unprocessed real food!
Most vegans consume fake meats which contain 0% animal yet 100% processed and unnatural chemicals that are just as bad for your health.
The Plant-based vegan lifestyle is healthier, cheaper, more practical, and so very sustainable!
As I so kindly spoiled for you above, I run a business all about this diet. I help women transition into this diet so that they can live healthier, spend less money, have a balanced diet, and live an overall kinder life!
I use my courses to educate women on the lifestyle and lead them through the transition. I also teach them all about making the diet sustainable for them, so they can stick with it for the long run!
In addition to these courses I often do free trainings all about food anxiety, yoyo dieting, how to have a balanced diet and how to eat like you mean it!
My deepest desire is to help these women align their choices (what they eat, what they buy, and what they do day to day) with their core beliefs (how they believe animals should be treated, what they know is healthiest for them, and what is best for the environment).
So I have a question for you…
Which one are you?
A. This post was a God send and you can’t believe you got so lucky! You are ready to dive head first into this lifestyle today and never turn back!
B. You love the idea of what I do but are convinced it isn’t for you. You couldn’t give up animal products, they are too much of a comfort!
C. You are gonna need more convincing because I sound like a crazy woman and you ain’t ready to get mixed up in my mess…
If you are A, congratulations!!!
I am so happy you found me and I am SO excited to get to know you!
If you are as ready as you say you are, I don’t want to keep you waiting a minute longer!
